Real Inn dos Marcos is an historic palace that has been reconstructed from an old episcopal residence (18th century), located in the village of Bemposta, where D. Manuel Martins Manso, Bishop of Guarda, was born in and lived in. The house "Dos Marcos" has an entertainment programme, based on the routes along the Arribes del Duero, and also offers the opportunity of going on a boat trip along the River Duero, or a trips by car, with excursions on foot, around the most important areas of the International Duero Natural Park and the “Arribes del Duero" Park.

The village of Bemposta is the site of around 28 parishes of the Mogadouro Council, which forms a part of the Alto Tramontana region (NUT III)
The Solar Marcos offers 4 double rooms, 4 single rooms and 1 Suite. All the rooms possess a private bathroom with a bath tub, satellite TV, central heating and a veranda with a view into the garden. One of the rooms wheel chair friendly.
